El comandante de la plaza era William B. Travis.

La escena guarda similitud con el momento en que Travis Bickle (Robert De Niro) conoce a Iris (Jodie Foster) y va a negociar un encuentro con el proxeneta Sport (Harvey Keitel), según aparece en “Taxi Driver”, la película dirigida por Martin Scorsese en 1976.
