Recuerdo el inicio: Martin Sheen tumbado en la cama.

Mirando al techo.

Fumando.

El ventilador y las aspas de los helicópteros se funden.

El napalm y el humo del pitillo.

De fondo suenan The Doors.

Es “The End”.

Claro, yo me pasé toda la película con unas enormes ganas de encenderme un cigarrillo.

No me enteré de mucho.

Recuerdo a Robert Duvall obsesionado por el surf.

Y poco más, debo confesarlo.

Quizá yo no era tan profundo.

O puede que sólo quisiera salir a fumar.

En fin: es el fin.

Se ha terminado el estado de alarma.

Ahora viene lo peor.

Ya no hay excusas.

Hoy me libero de un compromiso: alimentar este blog con una canción diaria.

Seguiré haciéndolo, pero no porque sea un compromiso.

No se puede atender a todo.

Y quizá deba (pre)ocuparme de otros asuntos de mayor importancia.

Vendrán proyectos nuevos.

Seguiré con algunos antiguos.

Trataré de mantener alimentado este lugar, pero no quiero ser una carga.

El 18 de junio de este año, el pasado jueves, se murió Vera Lynn, con 103 años, inspiradora de muchas cosas y de que me comprometiera públicamente en esta locura diaria.
